Dana Thompson is an Associate attorney with Rivas Goldstein, LLP. Her main practice at Rivas Goldstein is in the areas of corporate transactions related to health care companies. Some of her practice includes representing purchaser and sellers of health care entities such as home health agencies and physician practices, setting up new health care entities, conversions of entity types and preparation and review of agreements and contracts. Ms. Thompson is adept at all aspects of health care transactions from conception to completion.
Prior to joining the Rivas Goldstein team, Ms. Thompson was a former Associate in a firm located in Los Angeles California that represented real estate developers and investors in a variety of complex real estate acquisitions, financing, and restructuring. During this time she gained invaluable experience in drafting contracts, legal opinions, estate planning documents and corporate agreements.
Ms. Thompson is currently admitted to practice in Texas and California. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas, School of Law, located in Austin, Texas in November 2009 and has been licensed by the California State Bar since June 2012.
In California, she is associated with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Associate of Los Angeles. In Texas, she is associated with the Texas Young Lawyers Association and with the Austin Bar Association.
